This Christmas, Make It About Mom

When I was a small child, I specifically remember a Christmas where my father had a Mother’s Ring made for my mom. I was about ten years old and I was VERY proud of the ring that held my brother and my birthstones. Being born in January, my stone was a Garnet and it was so dark red that it almost looked black. My brother was born in August and the light green Peridot was the perfect balance to the darkness of my Garnet.
